blood drenched zombie

Another participant from the Beach of the Dead. I really liked the expression on her face but the image was very flat colour/contrast wise, so I added in some colourful bokeh textures fromĀ Shadowhouse Creations to liven it up.
Background colours are really complimentary on this one. (Bit of noise creeping (groan) in, but I’m not sure it troubles the image at all – give a bit more grit
Thanks for the all useful feedback. The lighting conditions were pretty poor on the shoot (cloudy and raining a little) and the subjects were moving a lot, so I had to ramp up the ISO more than I would have liked. But I’m not a massive fan of noise reduction as I usually find the results unsatisfactory (at least in the few programmes I’ve tried).
Nice image again – the use of colours works really well, albeit it that they’re not as conventional as the ones you’ve shown before. Nice one again, Stevie!
Excellent – she’s got the expression down or she’s lost in the moment. These are such interesting portraits – again there’s a really nice tension between what’s real and what’s going on in the world of the imagination.
I like the way you’ve post-processed the zombie photos. You’ve brought them to ‘life’.
