We spent November of 2008 on the east coast of Australia, travelling between Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Noosa and some places in between. This is one of the many photos I took leaning out of the passenger window of our car.
This is Lake George, somewhere north east of Canberra. Devoid of water here, this huge and ancient lake is renowned for emptying and filling on a cyclical basis.
