I came across what appeared to be a bronze/brass docker knocker fixed to a wall inside the Alhambra. I though it would make an interesting photo.
It was attached to the external wall of the Palacio de Carlos V, a renaissance palace built by the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V in 1527. See my previous post for more on the Alhambra.
I really like this shot. The history, of course, but the textures and shapes are wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
