I’ve had my fill of zombies for the time being (at least until next October), now it’s time for some travel photography.
Last year we decided to forgo the stress and hassle of a family Christmas and instead me and my girlfriend spent a week on the island of Sicily with another friend from Brighton. This was part of the shoreline in Giardini Naxos on Christmas day, as viewed from the small harbour there.
The base of infamous volcano Mount Etna can be made out below the clouds. When we drove down to Giardini Naxos from Catania airport on Christmas eve, the sky was clear and Mount Etna could be seen in all its glory. Unfortunately, I hadn’t unpacked my camera and for the rest of our stay the summit was permanently shrouded in cloud.
