While I was shooting the gnomes I decided that I might as well take some shots of Billy Ray Cylon, who lives on top of one of my hi-fi speakers. Billy Ray (to his friends) is a die cast model of a cylon centurion from the 2003 reboot of Battlestar Galactica.
Billy Ray enjoys watching television, eating ice-cream, cuddles and systematically eradicating all trace of human life from the known universe (fortunately he’s only 15cm tall so not much of a threat to anyone).

Loved the BG series. It was fresh, original and unlike the Seventies series, which also rocked. As for the pic: this is incredible-looking. I wouldn’t have known it’s only 15cm tall. The detail is phenomenal. I love the contrast as well. The shadow around its right shoulder looks awesome!
I want more!
Yes it was great, a good mix of action and drama, as well as thought provoking social/political commentary. And the centurions looked so damn cool.
