Temple of Minerva

Temple of Minerva

One of the recently restored/rebuilt follies at Hardwick Park (the grounds were originally laid out in the 1750s but fell into ruin/disrepair by the late 1800s), near Sedgefield in County Durham. Minerva being the Roman equivalent of the Greek goddess Athena.

We had a nice picnic here on the grass back in July when it was still sunny 🙂
