Roman columns at Ancient Salamis in north-eastern Cyprus. These columns were lying beside one of the dirt tracks that link the main sites, forgotten and a little overgrown like many of the ruins here that have yet to be properly excavated.
For a general description of Salamis see here.
Really interesting image – like giant fallen trees.
Thanks. Yes, they are like fallen trees – nice observation.
I’m really loving the filters you’re using for your photos. This one especially is really warm and gives me the impression of a hot summer day. Well done, Stevie!
Thanks. I played around with a few filters and really liked this one.
