One of the fine views from the Mirador del Río in Lanzarote. Shame it was so overcast and gloomy!
Created in 1974 by artist César Manrique (like everything in Lanzarote!) and constructed into the lava rock of the Batería del Río, the Mirador is a situated at 475m above sea level on the north west of the island. It features a cafe, a souvenir shop and an observation platform. And I approve of the coffee and cake 🙂
