Around 270m below ground inside the cold and humid Sfendoni Cave (also known as Zoniana), which resides within Mount Psilortisis in Crete.

Some of impressively large stalactites and stalagmites are up to five million years old and illuminated in a variety of changing colours for your viewing pleasure. During the guided tour along the metal walkways, you’re repeatedly reminded not to touch any of them as the heat and acidity from your hands can cause irreparable damage!
