Inside the unique Portmeirion in Wales – a picturesque, colourful and folly-tastic coastal village done in an Italian style. It was designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975.
Famously, it was used for most of the exterior locations in the surreal and cynical 1967 TV series The Prisoner, of which me and Jayne are huge fans. Needless to say, we raided the merchandise store, which is aptly legended as “No. 6” on the village map.
