Another shot from Saltburn, but this time of the offshore wind farm at Redcar. I’ve taken pictures of these turbines before (see here, here, here and here) as they’re marvellously photogenic, but you get quite a different perspective from a few miles down the coastline.
I’ve added a fair bit of contrast in Lightroom to bring out the drama of the clouds (it was rather flat before) and tweaked the colours slightly (such as warming up the highlights a tad). It’s not exactly “natural” looking, but I’m relatively happy with the result.
