A bronze statue of the Greek titan Atlas holding the earth aloft on his mighty shoulders.

It was created by Lee Lawrie and Rene Paul Chambellan in 1937 and sits outside of the Rockefeller Center in Manhattan.

Taken January 2019.

      1. Very much the case. If you’ve not already read it, I would thoroughly recommend Stephen Fry’s retelling of the Greek myths “Mythos”. Very accessible and an enjoyable read! πŸ™‚
