The RC Harris Water Treatment Plant in the Beaches area of Toronto. November 2019.
Constructed in the 1930s, the RC Harris Water Treatment Plant is a gorgeous piece of Art Deco architecture and still provides around 45% of the water supply for Toronto (thanks Wikipedia!)
The location has also been used in several films and TV shows. As a massive John Carpenter fan, I’m happy to say that I live within easy walking distance of the asylum where Sam Neill gets committed in the 1994 horror film In the Mouth of Madness 😀
Not seen that movie, but excellent shot. That’s a nice tone to the B&W too.
Thanks!
