As I’ve mentioned before, this platform is part of a project to build a 3,500m underwater effluent tunnel.
It’s been an ever-present feature of the lake ever since I moved to Toronto last year. But its appearance and position seem to change over time, and sometimes it even disappears altogether for a short while.
I find it fascinating and vaguely mysterious!
