Inside the wonderfully picturesque Toronto Necropolis, which is a historic non-denominational cemetery in Cabbagetown.
This grave marker neighbours the crypt from my previous shot. Interred here is Emerson Coatsworth, who was born 26 July 1825 in Yorkshire, England and died 8 May 1903 in Toronto.
He once held the position of City Commissioner here in Toronto, so not bad for a Yorkshire lad. Perhaps there’s hope for me yet!
Check out my previous post to read a badly paraphrased history of this fascinating cemetery.
Is there anyone from Canada there?? 🤣
That’s what I thought to myself!
