Inside the concrete spiral of the Guggenheim Museum. NYC, January 2019.
This was a 1 second exposure, but I managed to steady my camera enough to get a sharp image by resting it on the parapet.
The intention was to capture the motion of the museum’s visitors while using the man in the knitted jumper (leaning against the parapet with his back facing towards us) as the focal point. I would have liked a bit more movement but otherwise, I’m quite happy with the result!
I like it with the blurry people, nice one!
Thanks! I originally read that as “buttery people” 🤣
Haha, and yum!
Cool picture!
Thanks!
Well done. I like the composition. I’ve always wondered what it might be like to zip down a place like this on a skateboard!
Thanks! Yeah, skateboarding down the spiral would be awesome and would also make a great photo!
Yeah, a long exposure all the way down.
😁
The framing is brilliant here.
Excellent picture.
Thank you!
